There’s more time to claim the Mississauga attic insulation rebate. Ontario’s Home Renovation Savings Program, including its standalone attic stream, was set to close on November 30, 2026. On October 27, 2026, Enbridge Gas extended it to March 31, 2027.
What It Covers
The attic stream pays 50% of your insulation cost after tax. Standard attics qualify for up to $1,250, and flat roofs or cathedral ceilings for up to $750. You can skip the home energy assessment that the program’s multi-measure path requires.
Is Your Mississauga Home a Good Fit?
Homes across Mississauga, from Port Credit and Streetsville to Erin Mills and Meadowvale, can qualify if they meet the program rules:
- Current attic insulation below the program’s R-value thresholds
- An upgrade to at least R-50
- Work completed by a participating contractor
- No previous attic rebate from Enbridge, Save on Energy or another Ontario program
Check your attic insulation eligibility before booking.
Why Act This Winter
An extension doesn’t guarantee funding will last, and program terms allow the rebate to end at any time. Upgrading now also means you start saving on heating during the coldest months.
